Nice truck but is US Military surplus or Imported from Europe? is it a 404 and what is the build year not when it was rebuilt? I just notid the speedometer is Mph so guess it's US surplus.

Our family owned a very similarly colored 1958 25’ Chris-Craft Cadet cruiser. This model was only built in 1958 and was the smallest cruiser offered that year. Only 72 of them were ever made, but it was built to the highest Chris-Craft standards and was made primarily from premier quality Philippine Lauan mahogany with a double planked hull. Chris Craft was also beginning to use the new “fiberglass” to build boats, and constructed the cabin roof on this boat using it. It had twin 105 HP Hercules 6 cylinder engines, unusual for its size, which gave it “turn on a dime” maneuverability and also allowed it to get up on a full plane on the water and go well over 30 knots. We had many years of enjoyment operating our boat in the summer on a beautiful lake and after a couple of renovations, is still being used and enjoyed by one of our relatives.

Would this machine also be powerful enough to work on roof trusses of old houses or whole walls? Could it also be used to remove anti-foul on boat hulls? Or is it just good enough to clean cars?

Great sales vid and thanks for sharing! I'm old enough to be able to claim seeing a Mk 4, but not racing. Did see a whole lot of great McLaren CanAm cars too, including the Bruce and Denny show - but that was a long time back. Race cars of any class are vastly safer today than even ten years ago. I truly loved the old CanAm cars, the way they took corners and their speed, but they were totally death traps.

The real car is at The Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, Michigan. Dan Gurney started the champagne shower tradition after winning the 24 hours of Le Mans.

I believe I saw this car in Naples back in 2013 or 14. It was at Ferrari’s on Fifth. Which is now open to most all makes car show. Very cool, and you know what it was when it started; basso profundo!

For the record, Ford did not call these “GT40s” … they were Ford GT MkIVs and except for the 427 side oiler they shared basically nothing with the 1966 LeMans winning GT40 MkIIs…completely new cars with no ties to England. The MkIVs were all American and their win at LeMans in 1967 was similarly all American with Gurney and Foyt behind the wheel!

A most beautiful motion sculpture. How nice to see something to be enjoyed and not just sit around collecting interest. It would an insult to the intent of the creation. Stradivarius violins in museums have to be continually played to keep their tone limber. I think the same applies to great cars.

This car is a lot of fun indeed! But where is the 4 speed manual transmission? That is part of the experience! JK, I've seen people installing electrical steering (and a lot of stuff too) in those VW but it is my first time seeing an automatic transmission. (Where I live these VW type 2 were produced until 2014). Great video!

Yes, the FY is replacement glass from Chinese company, Fuyao. They do have a plant here in the U.S. as well. I reluctantly wound up with some FY glass in my Audi UrS4 but so far so good.
